Hi, I'm Eman Burney!
I'm a wedding, lifestyle, and social event photographer based in Chicago. I've always seen life through a visual lens, carrying a camera along with me for as long as I can remember. My goal is to capture images that feel profoundly honest, making the entire experience as authentic to you as possible<3
1. Why I do this
I photograph because I am captivated by the fleeting nature of real moments. Weddings and social events are living stories. I do this to give you back the exact atmosphere, raw energy, and quiet moments of your favorite days to relive them decades from now.
2. How I work
I operate with a dual-system setup for a dynamic and seamless experience.
~The Mediums: I shoot simultaneously on a Fujifilm system for a nostalgic, filmy feel.
~The Safety: Both professional camera bodies utilize dual-card slots, meaning every single photo is backed up to two separate memory cards.
~The Modern Edge: I keep my iPhone on hand to capture behind-the-scenes video clips throughout your day.
3. Fun Facts about me
- I can spend an entire day discussing Impressionism and Monet!
- I know every ice cream spot in Chicago, ask me and I'll give you the list :)
-I will be THAT person watching a film and pausing to discuss the lighting, angle, and production instead of watching the plot.
-I am an avid walker, exploring Chicago by foot is the best way to keep appreciating the city around me! You will always catch me on a photography walk with friends in my free time.
